This Yin Yoga Teacher training will not only give you the skills to teach Yin Yoga safely with creativity and confidence but will enhance and deepen your teaching and practice in all styles of yoga.
It is impossible to teach Yin Yoga safely and successfully without an understanding of anatomy. Yin Yoga stresses the deep tissues of the body including our joints. If we are to stress the joints in a healthy and safe practice we must have a clear understanding of the difference between compression and tension and the impact that has on our students who are all skeletally so different. The importance of this cannot be overstated. If a student is practising yin yoga in a way that is not suitable for the structure of their joints they are at risk of causing a repetiive injury to their cartilage, nerves, and/or soft tissue. The injury can develop over a short period of weeks or may not manifest for years.
With the growing popularity of Yin Yoga and a highly saturated and competive market of yoga in general, it is more important then ever to stand out as a teacher. The best way you can do that is to be the best teacher you can possibly be. There are a lot of short yin trainings out there but if you want to be a successful and knowlegeable instructor you must be well educated and trained. There are no short-cuts. Choose your training based on quality, integrity and experience, not convenience. You are taking your first steps on your Yin journey. An exciting journey of discovery.
It would be my privelge to guide you along your path, helping you become the successful, creative and compassionate teacher you long to be.
